AUGUST 2015 : SPAIN : El Camino del Norte : Day 32 : Roxica - Sobrado dos Monxes (15 kms - 4 hours with a stop)

A beautiful day's walk today 15 kms through farm villages, forest paths and some minor highway.

  Full view. It was founded in 952. It became a Cistercian monastery in the 11th century setting up a hospital for pilgrims.

PS We have been spotting this Deux- Cheveux for the last few days. The girls last night at dinner told us that it belongs to a French couple. The husband is walking the Camino and his wife meets him for lunch every day, ferrying him from hotel to starting point each day. There are many ways to do this walk.
