Trains every ten minutes to Copenhagen. Special carriages for bikes and riders
As we couldn’t check into the hostel until 3, I did our washing in the well-equipped laundry, read my book (another Grisham bites the dust) and looked after our bags. Meanwhile Mark had located a sports store in the outer suburbs, which had a sale on his preferred walking boots. He took the train and returned with his bargain. He took this photo from the train at Nordhavn - a popular swimming spot in this unseasonably hot weather.
This afternoon we found a series of ponds or lakes that are close to the city but also is an attractive area for the inner suburbs. There was a lot of activity on and around the water.
Today it was all about the bikes

We had a glimpse at the attractions in the Tivoli today. Very popular.
We went back to the Tivoli Food Hall for dinner. Lovely atmosphere and great choices of food. We sat with an Aussie family, living in LA. She works for Boeing and he in IT, formerly Microsoft in Seattle. Two gorgeous daughters 4 and 6.
