SEPTEMBER 2018 : CROATIA : PRVIC LUKA : DAY 4 : Swimtrek

Up bright and early for another 9am start.

Another spectacular day as we leave Prvic harbour

Instructions on today’s swims

First off a channel swim from one island to another - Drvenie to Dvainka

Then swimming along the island’s rocky shore

And finishing with another short channel swim to a another rocky outcrop of Mumonja

Success all round

We then moored on the island of Krapanj, just off the mainland

A simple village

We explored the small township while others walked the circumference of the island on a well made path.

The only sense of tourism was a swish hotel, with a sponge museum and a little beach area, where you could buy excellent coffee and ice cream.

Back to the boat at 12.30 for lunch

And a snooze for some

Our afternoon swim was around several coves on the large island of Zlarin.
It proved to be popular with most of the group as the water was amazingly warm and there was some interesting sea life to entertain us as we swam.

Our team, Yellow, is getting used to swimming together as a group. We swim at a similar pace and are finding comfortable positions and partners to keep us in formation.

On to the boat and a pleasant cruise back to port after another glorious day

Drinks on the pier - a Shirley Valentine moment

A vivid sunset over the little harbour

Dinner at a restaurant on the waterfront

Our best swims yet...
