Leaving Madrid, a city on a hot, hot plain. We flew Air Brussels with a stopover in Brussels en route to
Vienna. Budget airline, no frills but on time.
Vienna just as hot as Madrid. 38o. We are staying at a central hostel/ hotel, Meininger.
Comfortable rooms but unfortunately no aircon in this heat.
My sister, Ros, and friend, Thelma, were here to meet us. Tomorrow we head towards Bratislava to begin the European Peace Walk.
