Weather today : hot : 27o
Quite a hard climb today after our big night. Our French became amazingly fluent after several glasses of liqueur! (One of the French walkers has a brother-in-law who has lived in Australia for 30 years and now has an opal and shell shop in Bateman's Bay!)
Today featured our first view of autumn colours, foraging for plums, apples and sweet purple grapes.

Our accommodation is a large hotel reserved for pilgrims. Espeyrac is a sleepy little village of stone houses, climbing roses, which is dependent on the pilgrims, travelling to Conques and onwards.
