SEPTEMBER 2022 : SPAIN : Zaragoza - Valencia : 5 hours by train

Early breakfast

We walked to the local station noting more decorated skulls on display.
Luckily, I’d booked train tickets on line to Valencia as no-one in the ticket office.

5 hour trip in a beautifully clean and quiet train.

Arrived in Valencia at 4.30. 32o.
Population 840,000
City of Arts, Sciences, public architecture and beaches.

The hub of the city is the beautiful train station Nord. Extremely busy today. It is situated next to a huge bullring.

Our hotel 5 minutes from the station. Great location. Modest, clean with rooftop terrace.

Another city which will be easy to navigate.

Green pathways throughout the city, even leading all the way to the port.

Dinner at a Basque restaurant in our street. Fresh, tasty and tender dishes ..and we could eat before 8pm.

Excited. Different feel again to Barcelona and Zaragoza but it will be fun exploring the next few days.
