Canberra is such a wonderful place to live. Travelling to exotic places never diminishes the fact that this bush capital has it all for us.Summer, hot, dry temperatures and the build up to another scorching Christmas...perfect! All Christmas shopping done and preparations in order, so time for walking and swimming.
First stop Mount Ainslie

Then a refreshing few laps at my local pool, Manuka, a heritage swimming pool , opened in 1931.
My daily ritual, swimming in this special place, my own slice of heaven.
