A good dusting of snow on the Annapurna Range - the view from our window.
Locals clear the snow.
Main street Manang. Definitely not a one-horse town..at least it has horses going for it.
Due to bad weather we cancelled plans for a walk to a glacial lake, but we found another diversion. A local cinema screening among other climbing films, Seven years in Tibet.
Not the most glamourous cinema but it was heated, unlike anywhere else, and generator- powered, luckily as there was a black-out through out the town.
During the movie we were served hot black tea and packets of pop corn - the heater was topped up with yak's dung and a squirt of metho. We loved the experience!
Back to the hotel in the dark and Khem had made us a cake for dessert. I don't know how he does it with only a portable kero stove.
