A Dalmatian in Dalmatia!
Maugie, Dolores, Clodagh and I caught a bus from Sibenik to Plitvice Lakes (4 hours)
After Zadar we started climbing into the Rocky Mountains
Entering the greener Lake District. A rest stop on the bus trip.
Inside the cafe a rude shock awaited me en route to the loo
Twenty minutes later we were at Plitvicka Jezera and our Airbnb
A beautifully presented 3 bedroomed apartment on the edge of the Plitvice Lakes.
Only one restaurant in the vicinity - pizza and pasta. We ordered a medium pizza but this couple inadvertently ordered a jumbo !
Beautiful area which looks very alpine. We are looking forward to investigating the lakes and cascades tomorrow.
