An early bus to the beach. We have had our tickets for a few days but weren’t sure how to check in. Miraculously today Mark worked it out and within minutes four inspectors got on the bus and started checking tickets. We were very relieved to have done the right thing.
Back to Piccola Marina for our re-scheduled kayak excursion.
There were about eight participants, mainly women, led by a very caring guide, Daniel, who was a dead ringer for Costa. A three hour paddle around the Devil’s Saddle coastline, exploring beaches and caves. Pristine water. A lovely morning.
Back to Cagliari (on the bus) and lunch at a Sardo restaurant. Pasta today with a salesman of a waiter.
And at 3pm we were able to walk to the marina, a few minutes away, to our ferry. Only one hitch was that I hadn’t downloaded the whole booking so with the help of ‘roaming’ I was able to find the original email booking. Godsend having a mobile phone in these awkward moments.

And a fabulous 6 hours night’s sleep - with eye mask and enough wifi to listen to the ABC Listen App.
