Sergi our host. He drove us to Siurana before going rock climbing with a friend.
Landscape today. Totally different to previous days. Dry and enormous rocky cliffs - rock climbers dream and cyclists everywhere.
To the north..
To the south
Siurana. The last Arab stronghold in Catalonia. In the 11th century it became a vital military defence against the Christians.
Interesting to wander around and lunch in a quiet courtyard cafe.
The beautiful Romanesque church of Santa Maria
View to Cornudella, our destination today.
Mark was not confident walking down the stone path - 220m steep descent - so we organised a taxi.
Tonight we are in a top floor apartment in a beautiful hotel - La Palauet in Cornudella.
