We chose to do the last 4kms on the road - a flatter surface for Mark’s knees.
The small hilltop town of La Morera. Our hotel the first entry to the town. Busy today as there is a big community festival, lots of excited children running around the streets.

Lots of activity with families enjoying music and large servings of paella in the large community hall. Zumba and line-dancing! It may be related to the annual wine harvest, as this region is well-known for excellent wines, as you can imagine.
We enjoyed a walk around the small town - 11th century beginnings all linked to the church and wine growing. Found a few places to spend time for a drink as we try to stay awake to our appointed dinner reservation!
