Breakfast in the sun
After an hour of careering around on the slippery track exiting the Park we had an early morning tea on a huge dry river bed.
A large free-grazing Brahman bull
Rest stop in Falls Creek - an old goldmining town
Never-ending road trains carry goods and cattle across the country
Lunch in a dusty lay by/ free camping spot with all the grey nomads
Rubber plant, introduced from Brazil
A hostess with the mostest offering lollies to pass the time on our long travel day
Fitzroy Crossing - a dusty town after the wet season denuded all the campground vegetation
We opted for a basic tent tonight as it was so dusty
Lots of Agile Wallabies resident in the park
Excellent Italian antipasto meal prepared by Storm. Speeches and presentos to honour our guides.
Music and dancing. Not one Country and Western track to counter Luke’s proclivity for the genre. It would be interesting to know how many C and W songs we’ve ‘enjoyed’ in the last 11 days. It was a fun night.

Certainly seems like you had a great introduction to the Kimberley. C & W music education too. Brings back wonderful memories of that vast land and its varied history....Julie
