MAY - JUNE 2022 : CANBERRA AND SYDNEY : Connections

Winter has arrived and friends, instead of flying overseas, are heading north until Spring. Coffee together before they disperse.
Friends from uni days at ANU.

Visit from Armidale friends, Pete and Jenny.
Former neighbours in our first home in Curtin.

After 4 years on posting in Canada, Mark’s brother, Piers and partner, Richard, have returned to Canberra.
A dinner out to celebrate.

We had a brief babysitting stint in Sydney while Nick was on school camp. Mitchell had a day-off so we took him on a Palm Beach ferry to Ettalong.

Pippa had a belated P party for her birthday. No guesses for what Aunty Vicki came as.

A few days of babysitting our Canberra family as well in this chilly winter weather.

Lunch with Robyn, with whom I began teaching in the early ‘90s at Majura Primary School.

Breakfast on a frosty winter morning, with Helen and Graham. In 2008 we were all planning to do the Italian walk, Via Francigena, and were put in touch by the British organisation that coordinates the walk. Since then we have shared planning and information on many other walks. Although we’ve actually not walked together we have enjoyed comparing experiences.
