We have a friend with a small lodge on Lake Eucumbene, 2 hours south of Canberra in the Snowy Moumtains. The lake was created in the 1950s for the hydro-electric scheme. We decided to spend a few days with Julie and investigate the area in this beautiful autumn weather. We drove out of the city and enjoyed scenes of small farms, villages and the countryside.
