A chilly but clear day so we decided to spend the morning in Tilba Tilba, about an hour drive south from our coast house in Broulee. Tilba was established in the mid 1800s during the gold rush period. When the gold dwindled, the area was ideal for dairy farming and cheese making.
The township has been beautifully maintained and a popular tourist destination.
